Crystal Care
All jewellery pieces have been individually hand crafted using genuine Swarovski crystals. Some crystals have been treated with a custom coating in order to create a stunning range of multi-hued colouring and mirror effects and foil backed crystals have been preserved with an additional special design seal. Care should be taken to avoid scratching the surface which will distort the special effects colouring. Wipe crystals with a soft cloth to retain their shine and avoid sunscreen and perfume.
Pearl Care
Cultured freshwater pearls have been bleached to provide an off-white colour. Tiny Swarovski crystals have been delicately bonded into pre-cut channels. Care should be taken to avoid scratching the surface and the pearls should be wiped with a soft cloth and stored in a pouch or lined jewellery box in order to retain their lustre. Pearls also absorb oils and moisture so it is recommended to avoid contact with sunscreen and perfume.
Metal Allergies?
Some people have metal allergies but you do have options. If your ears cannot tolerate a plated product ensure you use “sterling silver” ear wires. If you are like me where sterling silver makes your ears black you can always use white gold. I can show you how to substitute various earring designs onto white gold ear wires – the silver look without the allergy! If you cannot use gold plate or even gold filled (“rolled” gold) ear wires, I can easily substitute 14ct gold ear wires to most of my designs for the additional cost of the ear wires.
